Spice Services is a global group of companies supplying & distributing the food industry food safe AD vegetables, herbs and spices from selected suppliers at the source countries. Headquartered in Belgium and with over 25 years of experience in the industry, the company is a leading supplier in the global industry. We offer our clients direct door-to-door shipments or provide combined distribution solutions for a large selection of products.

Since 2008, Spice Services group has established a Hong Kong & China subsidiary that operates with a management team that is based in Hong Kong and in China.

Our value proposition is driven by 4 value pillars: Quality – Supply Chain – Sustainability – Expertise. We create value for our customers by preventing risk and reduce cost. Spice Services aims to become a preferred & strategic supply partner for its +200 customers worldwide.

The story behind our spice family

Raf Nonneman established “Raf Nonneman Business Development”, as a European brokerage for herbs and spices directly from manufacturers in origin.

The company changes its name to European Spice Services nv, now taking title of the goods, providing DDP services and offering a wider range of dehydrated vegetables, herbs and spices.

Spice Services opens a branch office in China to on-site inspect, sample and test all productions to assure full quality compliance, while also catering direct shipments to other markets such as Asia Pacific.

Distribution services were set up in UK to better service the UK market, via our warehouse in Oxfordshire.

Distribution services were set up in EU to better service the European market, via our partnering warehouse in Belgium.

Distribution services were set up in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore, after partnering with our local distribution partner.

Distribution services were set up in US to better service the North American market, via our partnering warehouse in New Jersey.

Distribution services were set up in Canada to better service the Canadian market, after partnering with our local distribution partner.

Management buy out by the Nonneman family. The business becomes an independent and neutral company. The company is 100% family owned.

Further strengthening our quality and sustainability focus, Spice Services gets BRC Broker AA certified and first gains its first golden medal by EcoVadis for its sustainability efforts.

Distribution services were set up in South Africa and Egypt to better service the African market, after partnering with our local distribution partners.

Spice Services group reaches a consolidated turnover of 60 million USD and a traded annual volume of +15.000Mt.

IQF products are included to the portfolio and expends herewith its industry scope.

Spice Services – UK office is established to support our growth plans in the UK.

1. Quality

We offer high quality products produced from preferred vendors that are BRC AA certified and which are regularly visited and audited by our quality team. We do on site inspection prior to the shipment of the containers by sampling and testing through third party accredited laboratories. We aim full traceability to the farmers and are transparent about our supply chain.

2. Supply chain

We offer direct deliveries from the factory to the customer and upon the customer request make door to door deliveries through our warehouses in Belgium ,UK and USA. We keep safety stocks and open inventory for our main products to ensure guaranteed delivery of contracted products at all times.

3. Sustainability

We are committed to creating a better future by integrating environmental, social, and ethical practices into our business strategy. Our focus is on reducing emissions, promoting responsible sourcing and fostering DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) throughout our supply chains.

4. Expertise

We have invested into experienced teams. We do share our expertise by offering technical support and high level customer service. Being present at the source country, our market intel is shared through market reports and customers often consult us as being part of there advisory board of decision making.
